Tower Of Babel: Unpredictable

 


Project ‘Tower of Babel’ is our first text based (with GUI) game. There are various events that occur with a certain probability on each floor, and all you have to do is choose a choice. Find out what ending awaits you and see if you can reach the top of the tower!

Original Concept

The original Tower Of Babel was a console-based text RPG with the simple goal of reaching the 100th floor.
It was a vague concept from a game that Rabbit played on a portable gaming device when he was young, brought to life with the collective ideas of the team members and completed in a short period of time.

Version Alpha


This is the Alpha version including a basic GUI.
It's characterized by a list-style script interface that maintains the feel of a MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) game from the original concept version.
It supports keyboard controls for convenient gameplay on PCs.
It was compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Version Beta




This is the Beta version, which addressed the code-signing issues from the Alpha and incorporated extensive feedback on mobile support.
We switched the engine to Ren'py to address performance issues and better support mobile devices, and used a newly designed interface suitable for mobile and touch interfaces.
To enhance the gameplay, we added various story modes and structured the game with a play style akin to a Graphic Novel, offering a more familiar playing experience.
It compatible with Android and iOS.
